Community Living
Stormont supports each individual in realizing their best possible
futures. Personal Planning with the individual and their family and or support
network determines the type and level of support provided.
 A variety of residential options
are available, consistent with individual choice and need.
Support ranges from one to twenty-four
hours per day. Support can be provided in the individual's own home or apartment,
homes operated by Community Living
on behalf of individuals, or through home sharing
or out of home respite.
In all situations, individuals
are supported in ways that encourage participation and inclusion in the community
Individual's learn the skills
necessary to manage their own household, in harmony with their goals and aspirations,
and will be supported in the maintenance of these skills.
* Liability insurance is provided by
the Community Living while the
person is training and up until the
individual becomes a paid employee. |
